It's been a long while since my last issue of the Obsessive Page Turner. Instead of writing, I've been obsessively turning pages and reading some wonderful books. After producing 11 books in 10 years, it was time for a much-needed break. But, no worries, I've started a new project; a cozy mystery. This is a new genre for me, so it requires a whole new set of skills.

In case you're wondering, cozy mysteries feature an amateur sleuth, no graphic sex or violence and, of course, a dead body. Mine is titled A Woman Scorned and is set on a golf course. Oh, there are so many ways to meet your maker on a golf course!

I'm also involved in a new enterprise. My friend and fellow writer, Jonelle Mejica, and I are launching a business offering ghostwriting, editing and coaching. Jonelle is an experienced editor and writer as well as a website designer. Auggie's Corner

Well, it's official. I am now a certified therapy dog. I even have my own business card thoughtfully provided by Virginia Mason hospital.

Mom and I visit patients in the hospital, the cancer treatment center, Cottage in the Meadow and nursing homes. Let me tell you, all that work requires a lot more napping. Do you have any idea how hard it is to be cute 24/7? Luckily, my CQ (cuteness quotient) is off the charts, but still, it requires some work on my part. So, it's couch time for me when my work is done. After all, I'm not a pup anymore.
